We are currently conducting a search for a new CREECA Assistant Director/CESSI Program Coordinator. The closing date is May 30, 2023.
The Center for Russia, East Europe, and Central Asia at UW-Madison (CREECA) is a leading center on teaching, research, and public outreach for the Eurasian region. It is one of the member programs of the Institute for Regional and International Studies (IRIS) in the International Division of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
CREECA seeks a creative and dynamic academic professional to manage several activities for CREECA in advising, outreach, and administration.
The CREECA assistant director will be responsible for the following:
1) Coordinate the Central Eurasian Studies Summer Institute (CESSI)
2) Plan and implement CREECA public outreach activities for constituents in K-16 education, UW alumni, community groups, business, government, and the media
3) Coordinate student recruitment, advising, and alumni engagement for CREECA
4) Office administration, data gathering, and records management
