Welcome to the ROTC Flagship Summer Language Program in Korean (ROTC FSLP in Korean)! The ROTC Flagship Summer Language Program is an initiative of the Defense Language and National Security Education Office and administered by the Institute of International Education.
ROTC FSLP in Korean is a fully funded intensive 8-week hybrid language and strategic studies program designed specifically for ROTC cadets and midshipmen seeking to build high-level Korean language proficiency and region-specific leadership capabilities.
Combining rigorous academic instruction at UW–Madison with an immersive overseas experience at George Mason University Korea (GMU-K) in Songdo/Incheon, FSLP equips future military leaders with critical global communication skills, regional insights into the U.S.–Korea alliance, and domain knowledge in security, technology, and Indo-Pacific geopolitics.
