Position title: SLI Program Coordinator with primary focus on SEASSI and SIPI
Jinda Karnjana Moore is Coordinator for the Southeast Asian Studies Summer Institute (SEASSI). Each summer, SEASSI teaches eight or more Southeast Asian languages to adult learners from across the United States and abroad. Jinda holds an M.A. in Southeast Asian Studies focusing on Thai language and Isaan literature, as well as a B.A in Southeast Asian Studies, English Literature, and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL Certificate), both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a heritage Thai speaker, a SEASSI alum for Lao, and has also studied Spanish. In her free time, Jinda enjoys baking, exploring Madison’s food scene, and snuggling with her cats.
